This incident caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
